Leigh Golf Club, which is based off Broseley Lane in Culcheth, has reported that intruders have accessed the site.
As a result, it is believed that youths have caused damage to the course by riding electric bikes on the fairways.
Members are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
Leigh Golf Club said: “Anyone caught damaging the greens like this will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
“Please contact the golf club if you saw any kids on e-bikes on Monday, April 13, when they accessed the course via Broseley Avenue.
“If you have any CCTV footage, please also contact the club.”
