Spneb the penguin has turned 38, making her the oldest known Humboldt penguin in captivity (or not in the wild).
She lives at Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary in Cornwall, in the South of England.
Keepers there have said the diving diva is “sliding into her 38th birthday… with more sparkle and sardines than ever”.
Spneb was gifted a big blue cake topped with all her favourite treats such as Cornish sardines and sprats – delicious.
