Tees Valley wildlife photography competition opens

A conservation group has launched a competition for budding photographers to “celebrate the beauty of local nature”.

Tees Valley Wildlife Trust is asking people to capture images of the “incredible wildlife” across the region, from parks and gardens to the coastline.

Amateur photographers of all ages can send the charity their snaps until Friday 1 May.

CEO, Tom Harman, said the competition is about celebrating the “brilliant wildlife moments happening across the Tees Valley” by encouraging people to take a closer look at the nature around them.
