But who has got this, and what’s in it for each of ’em? Let’s take a look at Jessie and Skindred’s Official Chart stories so far.

Currently leading the charge, albeit by single figures, Jessie Ware will be hoping for her first Number 1 album, having previously seen Top 10 success with 2012 debut Devotion (5), 2014’s Tough Love (9), 2017 record Glasshouse (7), 2020’s What’s Your Pleasure? (3) and 2023’s That! Feels Good! (3).
Also chasing their first chart-topper are Cymry trio Skindred. The band (Benji Webbe, Mikey Demus and Arya Goggin) came tantalisingly close to the summit in August 2023, when their eighth studio LP Smile lost out to Cian Ducrot‘s Victory (apt) by just 150 chart units, settling for Number 2.
The boys have been on an upward trajectory since their first Official Chart appearance in 2011, enjoying growing success with that year’s Union Black (54), 2014’s Kill The Power (28), 2015 collection Volume (29), 2018’s Big Tings (26) and, of course, the aforementioned Smile.

A couple more expected new entries are still in with a shot, too. ZAYN‘s fifth record KONNAKOL sits at Number 3 in today’s update, while TOMORA, a group comprising The Chemical Brothers‘ Tom Rowlands and singer-songwriter AURORA, find their first collaborative release COME CLOSER at Number 5.
