All traffic on the M5 Southbound between J27 and J28 has been held after reports of animals on the road.
The incident is affecting the road between Tiverton and Cullompton service area.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix said: “All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to animals on road on M5 Southbound from J27 A361 (Tiverton) to J28 A373 Honiton Road (Cullompton / Service Area).”
