Trowbridge Integrated Care Centre (ICC), a brand new healthcare facility under construction on Hammersmith Fields, will open on Thursday, April 30, at 8am.

The Bath, Swindon, and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board (BSW ICB) has confirmed the new ICC’s opening date with little more than a week to go.

The centre will replace the nearby and reportedly ‘outdated’ Trowbridge Community Hospital. Work began on the site in November 2024, and the health board has said it is “delighted” to announce that it is on track to meet a target it previously announced.

The announcement of the official opening date comes roughly a month after BSW ICB confirmed that the centre would be up and running by the end of April.

On March 18, a spokesperson for BSW Integrated Care Board said: “The final stage of the Trowbridge Integrated Care Centre build is on track.

“We are delighted to say we expect the new centre will be open by the end of April 2026, bringing a new state-of-the-art health and care facility to the people of Trowbridge and surrounding areas.

“The building represents a £16 million investment that will play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our ambition of doing more for patients in the community and in locations closer to their homes.”
