Plans submitted for ‘playful’ Moxy Hotel in Hull

Revised plans for a new hotel development in Hull city centre have been submitted.

It would be built near Connexin Live and next to the recently restored Castle Buildings and former Earl De Grey pub.

The plans submitted to Hull City Council detail a seven-storey hotel with 122 bedrooms which would be operated under the Moxy brand, part of the Marriott group.

Molly Turpie, of Marriott International Hotels, said: “We’re excited at the prospect of bringing something fresh, playful and distinctive to the city’s hospitality scene.”
