The heated argument led to Sinitta walking off set

Sinitta has asked I’m A Celeb viewers to realise mistakes were made on “both sides” in the jungle. The singer walked off stage when the live final was broadcast yesterday as the tension and confrontation became too much for her.
The heated arguments heightened when former footballer Jimmy Bullard tried to explain his decision to leave the show during a challenge, which had led to an explosive confrontation with his teammate Adam Thomas who would have been forced to leave with him, under show rules.
Jimmy accused Adam of being “abusive, aggressive and intimidating” in the jungle. Jimmy asked hosts Ant and Dec for their opinion as they had “front row seats” and Ant disagreed that the exchange was aggressive and said: “No it wasn’t, I was there.”
As Sinitta walked off stage, she told the studio audience: “You were not there. I was there and it was aggressive and abusive.” The star has posted a lengthy message on Facebook this evening to share her version of events after the final.
She said: “I wish everyone had been given a chance to speak last night so that it didn’t end up people fighting to be heard and hectic. Before I walked out all I had wanted to say was I hate that people are being called bullies and all this bad blood between us because I had a wonderful time with everyone despite the one incident.
“I hope we will hold onto and focus on the life lessons and the tremendous experience we had together and let all the hostility go because I adore them all. But they would not let me speak and they didn’t get the guys to speak to each other properly even though they promised they would get a chance too.”

She continued: “I think David went too far last night as he tried to justify being called a bully. He ended up demonstrating bully behaviours by having to shoot over everyone and make his point. Adam apologised, bless him, he is nearly 40 years old and did the manly thing properly.
“The other men needed to be acknowledged as being friends and having fun with Adam, because he gave as good as he got he just didn’t take it very well and that’s why we told David to stop.”
Sinitta addressed the abuse she had received from viewers after the show concluded. She wrote: “I have hated being verbally abused on social media over the last two weeks, but I love your passion and devotion to your stars, I don’t deserve you swearing at me and calling me names.”
Sinitta described the experience of being on the show as “life changing” and said she “won’t take” the abuse being directed at her. She added: “It is finished now, we all survived the African jungle and the trials and we have a New King Adam Thomas. So I wish him well and never didn’t wish him well, I just don’t know how to cope with this side of things.”
Adam earned the title of “ultimate legend 2026” after coming out on top of the public vote. The former soap star was crowned the winner by reality TV star Sam Thompson, who won the original series in 2023, and said being on the show was a “blast”.
