Jarrell Miller will be looking to go one step closer to a crack at the WBA heavyweight title this evening, but faces a tough challenge in Lenier Pero.
‘Big Bay’ was last seen in the ring back in January when he scored a points victory over Kingsley Ibeh. However, it was not his performance that caught the eye of many that night, but rather his incredible malfunction after his hairpiece was hilariously punched off in the contest.
The win marked his first appearance in the ring in nearly two years following his draw with Andy Ruiz Jr. Stepping across the ring from him is the undefeated Pero. The 33-year-old comes into the contest off the back off a uninspiring points victory over Jordan Thompson. This evening’s match-up will serve as a WBA world title eliminator for Murat Gassiev’s ‘Regular’ title. And so, here is everything you need to know ahead of tonight’s action…
What time does Jarrell Miller vs Lenier Pero starttonight?
Tonight’s card will take place at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas. The undercard is expected to get underway at around 1am (Sunday) UK time (8pm ET / 5pm PT / 7pm CT). In the main event, expected Pero to make the walk to the ring at around 4am (Sunday) UK tune (11pm ET / 8pm PT / 10pm CT) with Miller set to follow soon after. The two stars will then touch gloves shortly after before the first bell sounds. The fight should not start later than this but could be brought forward if the undercard fights are completed earlier than expected.
