The person who dies on Coronation Street next week may have been rumbled in a fan theory.
One name keeps being shared as the predicted victim, and with that the killer has also been speculated about. This week we find out who has been murdered out of Theo Silverton, Carl Webster, Maggie Driscoll, Megan Walsh and Jodie Ramsey.
The death sparks a whodunnit with the killer to be revealed later on in the year. All of the potential victims named have motives and suspects, with them all getting an episode this week focussing on their potential final day.
By the end of the week we find out who has died and possibly how too, with detectives left to figure out who is to blame in the fallout. The body is found by a horrified Betsy Swain on the day of Lisa and Carla Connor-Swain’s wedding.

But some fans think they have already figured out who dies and who the killer might be thanks to some exit rumours for a couple of characters. The top theory is that Carl is the one who will lose his life, with fans speculating either Debbie Webster or Ronnie Bailey will turn killer amid speculation Carl is leaving, as Carl himself plots his departure.
One fan speculated online: “Ronnie kills Carl I think.” Another said: “I think Debbie kills Carl,” as a third added: “I think Carl gets killed Debbie is the killer but Theo gets the blame.”
Another fan posted: “Carl they’re been leading his death,” while some believed Theo would be the one to murder Carl in a twist. A theory read: “Theo kills Carl final prediction.”
Another said: “Theo has killed Carl.” Another theory shared a lot was the idea that Megan will be killed off, after she was exposed for grooming and sexually abusing teenager Will Driscoll.

Fans think Maggie will kill Megan, or perhaps Eva Price will kill Megan, with fans wondering about an exit for Catherine Tyldesley. A viewer commented: “I think it’s Megan as Eva is leaving for a while maybe she’s the one who does it.”
Another fan said: “It’s Megan cause Eva goes prison for murder which is her story line to leave the soap!” A further post read: “EVA has got a reason to kill Megan.”
A final theory read: “It’s Megan. I reckon Maggie kills her or EVA!” Then there was the idea that the victim might not be one of the five named characters. A fan asked: “Isn’t Todd leaving?”
Another theory said: “I think Theo will kill Summer as she is leaving the show.” One more fan posted: “I don’t think it’s any of these, there will be a twist and it’s someone we don’t expect,” as another said: “Carl kills Abi in the garage after an argument with Kevin.”
