Capcom’s all-time great fighter Ultra Street Fighter 4, often credited with reviving the genre, is on sale on the PS4 for the first time in five years.
You’re not reading that incorrectly: the title was last reduced in June 2021, when it dropped to $12.49/£9.99. It’s not been on sale once in the subsequent five years.
But right now you can get this complete edition of the fighter, including all DLC characters, for just $3.99/£3.19 from the PS Store. The deal will expire on 6th May.

You may recall around the time of Street Fighter 5’s console exclusive reveal for the PS4, Sony announced a port of Ultra Street Fighter 4, which was previously only playable on the PS3.
This version was ported to the PS4 by Other Ocean Interactive, and initially launched with a number of bugs, prompting it to be pulled from its planned usage at EVO upon release in 2015.
It was eventually patched up and improved, although fighting game faithfuls may still have some issues with this particular version.
For less than the price of a high street coffee, though, you can’t really go wrong with this legendary fighting game. And who knows when it will next go on sale again, eh?
