A person has been killed in the collision on Kennington Park Road, the London Ambulance Service has now confirmed.

Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene at 11am and provided emergency care. However, the injured person was pronounced dead at the roadside.

Their age and gender is yet to be confirmed by the Metropolitan Police.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.56am today (29 April) to reports of a road traffic collision on Kennington Park Road, SE11. We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, a motorcycle paramedic, an incident response officer and dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“Our first crews arrived in approximately four minutes. Very sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
