Large asset managers and owners have urged the UK government to avoid mandating broad-based corporate disclosure of climate transition plans, according to feedback from a recent consultation.
The comments came in response to a call for input on transition planning issued by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) in June 2025, which is expected to announce a policy package on the topic shortly.
