Crews are continuning to battle a fire at a waste processing site in Trafford Park this morning.
Firefighters descended on Tenax Road at 11.45pm last night, with the blaze involving scrap metal.
Ten fire engines attended the scene alongside specialist resources.
Part of Tenax Road is closed this morning while crews continue to work at the scene.
It’s the second major fire to hit Trafford Park in a week, following a blaze at Broadoak Business Park last Friday, which could be seen for miles around.
Residents have reported a ‘stink’ in nearby areas of Trafford and Salford this morning.
A ‘siren’ was also heard as the blaze broke out last night.
