Britain’s Got Talent fans think they have figured out Fabian Fox’s magic trick.
During Saturday’s second live semi-final on 2 May, viewers saw danger duo Alfredo and Coral, kid ravers Braunstone Community Primary School, illusionist Fabian Fox, singer Katherine O’Malley, freestyle rappers Macshane and Delby, singer Nic Vani, dance troupe Sadeck Berrabah and LMA and dance group World Wings.
Fabian Fox was the second act of the night as he dazzled the judging panel – made up of Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, KSI and Simon Cowell – with his illusions and magic tricks.
As part of his trick, he ‘time travelled’ on his motorbike as it disappeared on stage before appearing in the live audience before he showed a video of himself predicting what the judges had wrote down. During the act, Fabian Fox even surprised KSI with his old music teacher in an elaborate time-travelling video trick.
The judges were left seriously impressed with Simon, 66, gushing it was “really clever” and “really brilliant”. Meanwhile, KSI argued that it deserved the Golden Buzzer.

Taking to Twitter, now X, following the trick, viewers were convinced they had rumbled the illusion.
One person said: “Is he a twin? #BGT” to which another viewer agreed, responding: “I think so!”
Another show watcher wrote: “Also mate we all know that isn’t you in there still and you’ve swapped with someone #BGT” to which another viewer guessed: “Identical Twin brother #BGT.”
Elsewhere, another viewer speculated: “I’m thinking He’s a twin… or triplet and one is on location and they’ve filmed it live once the judges wrote whatever down? #BGT.”

While a different fan added: “This is the old bag-inside-a-bag trick. Take out the numbers he put inside the inner bag before the trick began. Simple really. #BGT.”
Meanwhile, other viewers were just amazed watching the act as one person said: “These magic tricks just get better and better #BGT” while another agreed: “This is the best BGT act ever. #BGT.”
Elsewhere, a different fan gushed: “Holy moly. He’s BRILLIANT! One of the best magicians we’ve ever had! He’s got fantastic stage presence. #BGT.”
At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Fabian Fox would be going through to the final show after winning the public vote. Meanwhile, Sadeck Berrabah and LMA won Alesha’s Golden Buzzer, meaning they too were in the final show.
