A man has died following a collision between a car and a motorbike on the East Lancs Road on Friday, May 1.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) attended the scene at the junction of the East Lancs Road and Old Clough Lane around 2pm after receiving reports of the crash. The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to the hospital but later died.
GMP is now appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the incident. They are particularly eager to speak to anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone footage of the collision or the moments immediately preceding it
