Britain’s Got Talent viewers believe they’ve worked out how Fabian Fox performed his magic trick.

During Saturday’s second live semi-final on 2 May, audiences witnessed danger act Alfredo and Coral, young dancers Braunstone Community Primary School, illusionist Fabian Fox, vocalist Katherine O’Malley, freestyle rappers Macshane and Delby, singer Nic Vani, dance ensemble Sadeck Berrabah and LMA, and dance collective World Wings.

Fabian Fox took to the stage as the evening’s second performer, captivating the judging panel – comprising Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, KSI and Simon Cowell – with his illusions and magical feats.

His performance featured a ‘time travel’ sequence where his motorbike vanished from the stage before materialising amongst the live studio audience, followed by footage showing him accurately predicting what the judges had written. The act also included a surprise moment where Fabian Fox reunited KSI with his former music teacher through an intricate time-travelling video sequence.

Following the trick, viewers flocked to Twitter, now X, convinced they’d uncovered the secret behind the illusion.
