Police say that a girl has been left with ‘serious injuries’ after colliding with a wall while riding an e-bike. Leech Street and surrounding roads were closed for a short while but have since been opened.
She is currently in hospital receiving treatment.
A spokesperson for GMP said: “Officers responded to reports that a child riding an e-bike had been involved in a collision with a wall on Leech Street, Stalybridge, and has sustained serious injuries.
“She remains in hospital receiving treatment.
“The road was closed in both directions while enquiries were ongoing but has since reopened.”
