Depth, sprinters, and a possible new leader appear to be the objectives for Movistar on the transfer market this year, with management hoping to strengthen both the men’s and women’s teams for 2027.
On the men’s side, the team have roughly 14 spots free for next season, and the current priority is to extend contracts. The team are also targeting a sprinter, although that won’t be one of the top-tier fast finishers on the market, and are looking for complementary riders for the Spring Classics.

On the women’s side, the team are considering a number of options when it comes to signing a potential GC rider, and are already among the teams interested in signing Paula Blasi for 2028, while their 2027 roster is in need of a couple of climbers and support riders to help the existing leadership structure.
