Former Girls Aloud star Cheryl Tweedy has shared some rare snaps of Bear, her nine-year-old son with late star Liam Payne. The 1D singer died in 2024 at the age of just 31 after falling from a balcony, and has become known for keeping her son out of the limelight since his birth.
The former X Factor judge recently took to Instagram to share some sweet snaps of a trip she had taken with him to Walt Disney World in Florida.
She wrote: “Somewhere in the corners of the world Magic still exists I don’t know what took me so long to experience the joys of @waltdisneyworld but I completely escaped into my inner child for the last couple of weeks. What a wonderful place.” As soon as she shared the post, Cheryl was inundated from fans glad to see her having a good time.

One wrote: “Glad you had the best time gorgeous,” whilst another said: “Hope you and your son had a wonderful time!” and a third wrote: “Brilliant ! It’s a great experience & yes, I transformed from an adult to around 13 in hours. Enjoy!”
The star was accompanied by Liam’s sister, Ruth Gibbins, alongside Ruth’s husband and son. Ruth observed the visit was “bittersweet” considering her brother’s affection for the resort.
The party was spotted experiencing various attractions, including Hollywood Studios, where Cheryl and Bear donned matching grey tracksuits, Toy Story Mania! and the Floating Mountains of Pandora in Animal Kingdom and witnessing Mickey Mouse perform.
Other followers noticed just how much Bear has grown and others said he had started to take after his dad, with one writing: “Bear has grown so much! I’m glad you visited this magical place, so beloved by Liam.”

Others also claimed Bear ‘had Liam’s walk’, as one person wrote: “Wow Bear has grown and walking like his daddy, beautiful Cheryl, you are an awesome mummy to take Bear to his daddy’s favourite place, bless you both.” Another agreed: “Bear and Liam have got the same walk.”
True to her longstanding approach, Cheryl made sure Bear’s face remained hidden in all shared footage in order to safeguard his privacy.

A post-mortem examination and a subsequent UK inquest confirmed the medical cause of death was polytrauma – a term for multiple traumatic injuries sustained to the body and organ systems. Bear was born in 2017 after Cheryl and Liam, who first met on the X Factor, started dating a year earlier.
