Glamorgan’s bowlers have fought back in the afternoon
sunshine after Somerset reached 138 before losing their second wicket, Josh
Thomas and Tom Lammonby putting together a stand of 133.

Thomas reached a hard-working 71 as he and Lammonby put
away the odd bad ball on a grassy pitch to get their team on the front foot.

But tall Aussie paceman Ryan Hadley broke the stand when
Thomas played on, and burly young debutant Tom Norton claimed his first two
wickets as Lammonby was lbw for 45 playing no shot and Archie Vaughan (17) was
caught behind.

Will Smeed, trying to nail down a red-ball place along with
his white-ball heroics, edged Timm van der Gugten to slip for 12, but Somerset
will be reasonably happy to have got past 200 with five down in testing
conditions.
