Congratulations go to KNEECAP, who claim a career-best with second studio release FENIAN (2). The Belfast-born trio – Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí – prevously charted with 2024 debut Fine Art (42). FENIAN also tops this week’s Official Vinyl Albums Chart, shifting the most copies on wax over the past seven days.
Melanie C sprints to a new solo career high, with her ninth studio album Sweat in at Number 3. The record not only beats the Number 4 peak of her 1999 debut Northern Star, but also gives Melanie the highest-charting solo album by any Spice Girl. Previously, that honour was shared with Geri Halliwell’s Schizophonic and Emma Bunton’s A Girl Like Me, both of which reached Number 4.
What’s more, following an extensive instore tour up and down the country, Sweat tops the Official Record Store Chart, this week’s best-seller in independent UK record shops.

It’s a fourth Top 10 album for Texan country star Kacey Musgraves with seventh studio collection Middle Of Nowhere (7). It joins 2016’s Golden Hour (6), 2021’s star-crossed (10) and 2024’s Deeper Well (3) in her Top 10 tally.
Tori Amos secures her highest-charting record in 12 years with In Times Of Dragons (13). It’s the North Carolina native’s 15th Top 40 album across a career spanning 35 years.
Nigerian multihyphenate Asake nets a fourth Top 40 with M$NEY (27), as Billie Eilish bags a fifth with HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: The Tour (29).
Ohio duo The Black Keys secure a ninth Top 40 with Peaches! (33) and, finally, Zara Larsson’s Midnight Sun rises to a joint peak with the release of its Girls Trip remix record, piercing the Top 40 for the second time (36).
