Carn Wheelers were still celebrating their win in the main race at the Carn Two Day last weekend – their own event – when two of their riders popped up and hit the bullseye at the Groucho’s GP today, Saturday.
Run off in the sunshine of South Armagh, the C3 race was won by Ali Gribbon, who was out front alone as club mate Tony O’Doherty covered the moves back in the bunch. Gribbon won the race solo by more than two minutes.
And in the main event today – the C2 race, also promoted by Shelbourne Orchard – comeback man Cathir Doyle took another win for Carn Wheelers.
