Rangers have been forced to pull a social media post after Celtic seized the chance to mock their rivals.
Gers crashed to a 3-1 defeat at Parkhead on Sunday as Danny Rohl’s men were consigned to a third-place finish – with their Old Firm rivals now battling Hearts for the title.
It marks another dire end to the season for the Light Blues, who will finish the campaign trophyless for the 12th time in 15 years.
Fed-up punters have been venting their anger online at the club’s calamitous collapse in form since the split after three straight losses.
Danny Rohl has also come in for some stinging criticism for his role in the wretched run of results which has left the Ibrox side eight points behind leaders Hearts and seven adrift of Celts.
And it was a day to forget for the club’s social media department too after Celtic stuck the boot in within minutes of the final whistle.
Gers – rather unusually – shared a scenic snap of their bitter rivals’ stadium across all of their official channels in the build-up to kick-off.
The aerial view of Celtic Park basking in the sunshine was captioned “Away Days” alongside a blue loveheart.
But the image sparked immediate backlash from bemused Rangers fans who urged the admin to take it down.
And after storming to a crucial derby victory, it didn’t take long for Celtic to seize on the opportunity to mock their Glasgow rivals on X.

Rangers have since deleted their own post
The official Hoops account quote-posted the original message with a response of their own, reading: “Paradise on your mind.”
To rub it in even further, Celtic even pinned their reply – which has racked up almost a million views – to the top of their X profile.
One fan wrote: “Outstanding tweet admin.”
Another joked: “Sack the board. Keep twitter admin.”
While a third laughed: “Gaslighting of the finest order.”
Now, hours after being trolled by their fiercest rivals, Rangers have wiped the post from both their X and Instagram accounts – topping off a forgettable day on and off the park.
