Jet2 has warned passengers about possible flight delays

Jet2 has issued an urgent warning to holidaymakers travelling to and from four popular destinations. The airline regularly keeps customers with bookings in the loop regarding travel updates.
Earlier today (Monday), it announced: “We wanted to let you know about strike action, supported by ACC Roma, an Italian Air Traffic Control company, which is taking place from 09:00 to 17:00 (local time) on Monday 11th May 2026, which may cause delays to flights arriving and departing Rome, Naples, Pisa, and Venice.”
Jet2 added that it is doing its best to “keep any disruption to a minimum”. Passengers should note that check-in desks close 40 minutes before scheduled departure, and travellers are urged to arrive at the airport no later than two hours before their flight.
The airline continued: “We will be working hard to ensure that the impact on our flights is minimal, however, you may encounter some disruption if you are travelling during this time. Please be prepared for possible longer than normal waits onboard your aircraft to depart.
“We will board all flights and close all gates for an on-time departure, this will allow us to depart as soon as we are advised we can. Please make sure your contact details are up to date in Manage My Booking, and if the situation changes, our team will be in touch.”
