Katie Price and Lee Andrews were set for their debut interview as a pair on Good Morning Britain – but the businessman failed to make it to the studios. Ed Balls revealed on the morning show that Katie will still be appearing but said Lee “didn’t make his flight”.
Susanna Reid said: “Katie and her husband Lee were booked to appear and up until yesterday that was still the case.”
Instead, the broadcaster was forced to share a short clip by Lee as he thanked them for their invite but had to miss out on this occasion. It comes as allegations of a travel ban continue to plague Lee – something he continues to deny.
Up until seven hours before the announcement he wouldn’t appear, Lee was still sharing posts about his appearance.
But Katie hinted her partner couldn’t fly last month and claimed bans in Dubai are handed out for the smallest of issues. Sophie had asked her sister about the apparent travel ban on their podcast, to which Katie said: “Do you know what? Everyone has said to me you can get a travel ban over anything in Dubai.
Shortly before the pair were set to be on GMB, Lee shared another touching message to his new wife. The pair shocked with their whirlwind wedding in January, just weeks after they had first met.

Ahead of what was supposed to be their first interview together on the ITV breakfast show, Lee shared a gushing post on how he intends to treat the former glamour model.
He shared a clip of the duo out for a date night and a futuristic table saying “Welcome Kate” and “Welcome Lee”.
Lee captioned his upload: “Normalise flexing your partner so loud others don’t even think they stand a chance. Brag about them. Make it clear that the spot they hold no one else will ever be able to stand in.”
He has regularly “flexed” when it comes to sharing his thoughts on social media. Just a day earlier, he shared a defiant post as he once again reiterated his desire to be a permanent fixture in the former glamour model’s and defended their quick marriage.
He wrote on Instagram: ” Respectfully No,” when it came to comments on the pair rushing in. “If anything, we’re catching up. We spent years giving our hearts to the wrong people hoping they’d love us the way we deserved. Now that we’ve finally found each other? We’re not wasting another second.
“This isn’t fast. This is finally. And if I could’ve met her one moment sooner, I would’ve. So no – we’re not rushing. We’re just not holding back.”
And Kate stood by her man with a reshare. She was ready to stand by Lee on screen or the first time too this morning (Wednesday, May 12). They were set to try to dismiss concerns of Katie’s friends and family in the discussion.
The interview was announced on Tuesday in a video shared on the GMB Instagram page, with Ed Balls and Susanna Reid confirming their interview. “Katie Price joins us alongside her husband, Lee Andrews, for their first live TV interview,” Susanna said in the video.
But it appears like the viewers will have to wait once again as another trip to the UK by Lee fails to come to fruition. When Katie appeared on the GMB sofa in March, she was met with questions about their marriage, and why her husband had not met her five children yet.
Despite the pair walking down the aisle, the mum-of-five explained that she was unsure if they knew each other well enough to take that step, insisting that she “wants to get to know him more”.
She told the presenters: “For me to introduce him to the kids, I won’t be introducing him to the kids yet, because I want to get to know him more myself. I think the thing that everyone can’t get their head round is why have I married him quick.
“I was there. We got engaged. And it just felt right, so why not get married?”
