One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 DLC Revealed Over 5 Years After Release, But No Word on PS5 Port 1

As expected, One Piece Day has mapped out the upcoming DLC support for 2020 title One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 – although there’s no word on the release’s previously announced PS5 port.

Character Pass 3 will add six playable characters to the release’s already robust roster, with the content spread across two packs.

The lineup is as follows:

DLC Pack #7 (Fall 2025)

Rob Lucci
To Be Announced #1
To Be Announced #2
3x Additional Character Costumes

DLC Pack #8 (Early 2026)

Those who purchase Character Pass 3 will also unlock the Kamusari technique for character Shanks across a couple of his different guises.

As detailed above, the content will drop in two phases: DLC Pack #7 is due out later this year, while DLC Pack #8 will follow early next year.

The pack will be available to purchase from tomorrow, 11th August, but there’s no word on when the previously announced PS5 port will release.

If we had to guess, we’d expect the next-gen version to set sail alongside the first DLC pack later this year, but we’ll follow up with publisher Bandai Namco and see if it has any further information to share.

Other big announcements at One Piece Day included confirmation that spin-off light novel One Piece Heroines – which includes various short stories inspired by female characters from the franchise – will be getting an anime adaptation.
