After what has felt like an actual eternity, Rivals has returned for season two, bringing back to life the world of Jilly Cooper’s Rutshire. From Tony Baddingham’s narrow escape from death, to an opening scene with twins in the nude, to the fight for control of the air waves continuing, the second season kicked off with a bang today, but when are the next episodes on?
The new season, which airs on Disney+, is sadly being split in two with a staggered episode release and so we can’t binge-watch all the episodes at once. Delayed gratification has its merits right?

The first three episodes of Rivals arrived today (15 May) on Disney+ at 7am.

When is the next episode of Rivals season 2 out?
Following the first three episodes being released on 15 May, the next three episodes in the first half of the season will be released weekly. The second half the season will then be released later on in the year.
With this in mind then, episode four of Rivals season two will drop on Disney+ on 22nd May at 7am.
How many episodes of Rivals season 2 are there?
The second season will have 12 full episodes, in comparison to season one’s eight episodes.
However, we’ll have to wait a few months for the next six episodes as they’re not due for release until later in the year.
