Princess Andre admitted her mum, Katie Price, is “completely unpredictable” after answering the phone topless in first episode of her ITV docuseries, The Princess Diaries. The show offers a frank glimpse into the teenager’s life as she navigates adulthood while launching her own beauty business.

The inaugural episode featured Princess attending the premiere of the latest Mission Impossible film with her brother Junior and father, Peter. Later in the episode, viewers were treated to a humorous display of the 18-year-old’s driving skills as she strives to obtain her driving licence.

Princess told viewers she is “so close” with Katie and has built a relationship where she feels comfortable telling her mum anything. Princess gave Katie a video call during the episode but had to cut it short after not being camera ready.

The conversation was unaired except for the pair’s final farewells. Speaking to camera afterwards, Princess said: “She had her boobs out. She’s there just casually out of the shower just topless. She just doesn’t care. I was like ‘oh my God’.”

“I can never ever answer the phone. My mum will call me and she’ll be like ‘you’re with people aren’t you’.

“I’ll be like ‘yes’. Because when she answers the phone she’s so unpredictable.

“She just lives life. She actually doesn’t care and I really look up to that. I would love to have that mindset of I don’t care because deep down I do care. I won’t show any emotion and then I’ll get to my bed and cry.”

Princess added: “Deep down I do care. On my own I don’t handle it very well but to other people I’ll be like ‘I’m fine’.

“I do wish that I could’ve had a more happier childhood because I had so many things on my plate at a young age and sometimes I wish things weren’t like that and I could’ve actually enjoyed not having things in the back of my mind at so young.”

“I had amazing times in my childhood. I have amazing memories of when I was younger with my mum and my dad. And I also have not so good memories of the time when my mum and Kieran split up when I was 10-years-old.”

Princess went on to discuss her emotions around experiencing her mum’s breakup to ex-husband Kieran Heylar. The 18-year-old admitted she can discuss her childhood but she’s still not “really healed.”

She added: “I wouldn’t say I’m fully recovered from it but mum is such a different person. She’s genuinely really fixed herself.

“She apologised and I never wanted an apology from her but it was a lot that she acknowledged it and she was like ‘Your my kids and I love you and I need to prioritise you as my kids’.

“We’re so close now and we do a lot of things together. We talk all the time and I love her. she’s like my best friend.”
