Victoria Swarovski is set to present the Eurovision 2026 final — but did you know she is heiress to a glittering jewellery empire and is romantically linked to a billionaire?

Appearing alongside actor Michael Ostrowski, Victoria will take centre stage during the grand final on Saturday (May 16), presenting live from the Wiener Stadthalle arena in Vienna, her home country.

Austria is hosting the prestigious event for only the third time in its history, following singer JJ’s triumph at the 2025 competition with his track Wasted Love, which pipped Israel‘s Yuval Raphael to the top spot by the narrowest of margins.

When Conde Nast Traveller quizzed her on any pre-show jitters, Victoria was remarkably composed: “Not at all. Right now I’m still very relaxed and simply really looking forward to the evening,” reports the Manchester Evening News.

“I can’t see those 170 million people from the stage, so it doesn’t feel that tangible to me. I think I’ll be more nervous in front of the 10,000 people in the Stadthalle. The atmosphere will be very special, and so will the immediate feedback you get and feel as a presenter.”

What may come as a surprise to many viewers tuning into the final is that Victoria’s father holds a position within the family-owned business Swarovski.

The Austrian luxury goods empire operates numerous stores across the UK. Specialising in jewellery, watches and glass, the business was established back in 1895 by Daniel Swarovski. The firm also operates dedicated divisions for crystal products, telescopes and construction equipment.

The business is recognised as amongst the most esteemed producers of luxury items, operating around 3,000 outlets across approximately 170 nations worldwide. Last year, the firm, which maintains branches across the UK, was valued at $4.8 billion.

After introducing the hosts on Eurovision tonight, BBC presenter Graham Norton commented on Victoria’s jewels for the grand final.

He said: “She’s Victoria Swarovski, the heir to the jewel fortune.”

He added: “I’m told that she’s wearing jewels tonight worth £4.5million. It seems unlikely looking at her now, but that’s what I heard!”

Beyond the public eye, Victoria was formerly wed to property investor Werner Mürz between 2017 and 2022. Their legal representatives issued a statement during their separation stating: “Victoria Swarovski and Werner Muerz have separated on friendly terms. We are asked to respect privacy and to refrain from further inquiries.”

Following that chapter, Victoria has since embarked on a new relationship with Mark Mateschitz, an Austrian billionaire entrepreneur who holds a 49% stake in Red Bull. Mark’s father, the late Dietrich Mateschitz, originally founded the energy drink empire.

In 2026, Forbes estimated Mark’s net worth at $45.8 billion, making him the 43rd-richest person in the world. Mark made headlines in 2025 when he acquired a collection of grand prix and Formula One racing cars established by Bernie Ecclestone for £500 million.

Earlier in the year, Victoria wrote on Instagram after attending a race with her partner: “Thank you to my great love. Without you, I would never have driven this race – and wouldn’t have even considered going to the starting line at all. Your support made everything possible.”

When it comes to her TV experience, Victoria became the co-host of Let’s Dance, Germany’s Strictly Come Dancing, just two years after she won it in 2018.

In news that will please fans of the BBC dancing competition, Victoria has worked with Motsie Mabuse, who serves as a judge on Let’s Dance, for a number of years. As well as this, Victoria hosts a version of Britain’s Got Talent.
