Toss Delhi Capitals chose to bowl vs Rajasthan Royals

Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Axar Patel, with his team’s playoffs hopes hanging by the thinnest of threads, opted to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Delhi.

DC made one change: debutant T Vijay came in for Auqib Nabi and Adam Milne . Axar said he was not thinking too much about the pitch, which looked fairly dry and had no live grass.

For RR, Riyan Parag was back. He said he was happy to lose the toss as he was not sure what to do on this pitch. They made a few changes. Ravindra Jadeja missed out because of “load management”, Parag said. Ravi Singh replaced him. Adam Milne made his debut for RR, while Shimron Hetmyer and Tushar Deshpande were left out.

The match is being played on the centre wicket, with two square boundaries being 63 metres each. The straight boundary is 73 metres.
