Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews has been spotted active on Facebook Messenger despite being at the centre of a “missing person” case. Former Apprentice star Luisa Zissman jetted off to Dubai in search of Lee to help Katie locate her husband after concerns he had been “kidnapped”.

The former glamour model has been keeping fans updated since her partner failed to board a plane to the UK last week. The couple were due to make their first TV appearance together on Good Morning Britain, but Katie was bombarded with messages when Lee was a no-show.

ITV presenter Susanna Reid issued a warning to Katie that her husband might not be telling her everything. However, things took a darker a turn when Lee went quiet on social media, and Katie feared he had been “kidnapped”.

Katie said: “The last time I heard from Lee was Wednesday night at 10pm, he was trying to go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to me.

“Lee was trying to get through the border at Hatta, this is so discombobulating. His location went off at 10.03pm on Wednesday night, that’s the last contact anyone has had – his family and myself.”

Katie has been keeping fans in the loop following Lee’s “disappearance”.

Luisa Zissman, who starred on the 12th series of The Apprentice, has been helping to locate Lee and has shared regular updates to social media.

Sharing a video from Dubai, Luisa said: “Okay guys, it’s the end of day one looking for Lee Andrews missing person’s case. I’m trying to bring Katie Price’s husband home.

“I’ve discovered a few things. He was seen as active on Facebook Messenger six hours ago, which does indicate that his kidnappers are definitely letting him have access to social media, [it] makes you wonder why he hasn’t reached out to ask for help. Who knows, but I did see that while I did some digging on Facebook.”

Katie has since shared an update as she has still had no contact from Lee.

Speaking in a video posted on Instagram, Katie said: “This is a really difficult time for me at the moment. It’s been five days now since I’ve heard anything from Lee.

“None of his family have heard anything. His dad’s out in Dubai and has heard nothing.

“The rest of his family are in the UK and obviously me. We have reported him to the British embassy as a missing person. He’s been reported in Dubai as a missing person. I just don’t know what to say.

“The last time I heard from him was Wednesday at 10pm. I’ve been reading his last few messages and I’ve heard nothing.”

The Foreign Office recently shared a statement with the Mirror about Lee’s disappearance. An FCDO spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British man and are in contact with the local authorities.”
