Trump Mobile’s T1 has begun shipping. First hands-on images show a gold-finished, rebranded HTC U24 Pro running Android 15 with Truth Social preloaded, 9 months after deposits were collected.
The Trump Mobile T1 has begun shipping to select media outlets, with NBC News receiving one of the first units. The hands-on images now circulating online give us the clearest look yet at the controversial smartphone.
The phone arrives in a black box labeled “Trump Mobile” and includes a gold braided charging cable. The front comes with a punch-hole AMOLED display with slim bezels, and the lock screen has the Trump Mobile branding. The back is finished in gold with a triple-camera array featuring gold accent rings, the Trump Mobile logo, and an engraved American flag. The flag on the rear panel shows 11 stripes; the standard US flag has 13.
The app drawer shows that Truth Social comes preloaded alongside standard Google apps including Chrome, YouTube, Gmail, and the Play Store. The box reads “Proudly Assembled in USA.”
The T1 has been previously identified as a rebranded HTC U24 Pro, a mid-range device that launched in 2024. The confirmed specs include a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, a 50 MP main camera, 512 GB storage, a 5,000 mAh battery with 30 W charging, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The T1 retails at $499.
The phone was originally announced in June 2025 with an August 2025 ship date. Approximately 590,000 customers paid $100 deposits ahead of the launch. Shipments began the week of May 13, 2026, with Trump Mobile stating all pre-orders will be fulfilled within a few weeks.
