Runcorn cyclists cycle 535km for North West Cancer Research

Adam Worsell, Chris Main, Mark Turner, and Owen Watton cycled from Southport to Hornsea and back to Bolton, totalling 535km.

The ride, which took place in early May, was in memory of Mr Worsell’s mother, who died of cancer 20 years ago.

So far, they have raised almost £3,000 for North West Cancer Research, a charity that focuses on supporting people affected by cancer across the North West.

The ride followed the Trans Pennine Trail, with the group starting on Saturday, May 9.

Mr Worsell, Mr Main and Mr Turner are all from Runcorn.
