A Highland golfer has overcome odds of one in 67 million to hit two holes in one in the same round.
Douglas Spencer – who had never had a hole-in-one before – was competing for the Roddy Macleod Trophy at Boat of Garten Golf Club on Saturday.
After what the 60-year-old described as a “not very good” start, he then got his first hole-in-one at the ninth hole, before repeating the feat at the 16th.
Spencer, who came second overall at the tournament, said he would rather have won the trophy, but was still delighted to beat such huge odds on his home course.
