Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale is lining up a new ultimatum for Charity Dingle from Dr Todd, which has the potential to devastate Sarah Sugden. Charity is in the middle of a blackmail plot at the hands of the villainous character, who is threatening to reveal the truth about Sarah and Jacob’s baby.
While Charity carried the child as a surrogate, most characters are unaware that Charity and Ross are actually Leyla’s biological parents after a one-night stand.

However, Todd knows the truth, and is threatening to reveal all unless Charity pays up, with the latter in a desperate scramble to get the demanded £100,000.
Amid her quest to find the money, Charity has been banking on a Woolpack deal to help buy Todd’s silence, though things get drastic next week when Kim Tate pulls out of the deal, leaving Charity in a hopeless situation. As such, she plans to team up with Chas and steal from Kim to get the cash instead.
In new scenes set to air next Friday, Charity is able to get some of the £100k as a down payment to Todd. However, Todd threatens to blow the roof off with the truth at Sarah’s 21st birthday party unless she gets the rest of the cash by the next day.
Terrified Charity knows that Todd isn’t bluffing – what will she do?

“Dr Todd certainly knows how to twist the knife – the baby secret being exposed so publicly would be the worst possible outcome for Charity,” our Emmerdale insider said.
“Sarah doesn’t deserve to be publicly humiliated like this, but it’d definitely be a sly way for Todd to cause more misery for her nemesis Jacob. Will she follow through with her threats – or can Charity come up with the £100,000 ransom demand to silence her?”
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
