I’m sorry, but there has to be some sort of conspiracy or rigging to the chart because HOW has Rein Me In done THIRTEEN weeks at the top? It’s awful!
This is what I hate about the modern charts because so many boring overrated songs spend far too long at the top. There should be a minimum cap of 5 weeks at number one, then the song automatically drops out of the top 20.
If Olivia Rodrigo cannot knock Rein Me In off, no one ever will. I genuinely believe that song will be at the top for the WHOLE YEAR at this rate. How can it have THREE separate stints at number one. That should not be possible. Once you’re knocked off, you cannot go back. Simple as that.
On a positive, nice to see Free Your Mind up 5! Song of the year so far.
Also, what’s with all the Fleetwood Mac songs in the chart?!
