Robyn Langton, 21 from Liverpool said her dad has banned her from having sex on TV. The quantity surveyor and DJ is just one of the many hopeful contestants looking for a soul mate on the upcoming series of Love Island. Robyn is about to head into the stunning Spanish villa in search for love.
Since it first launched in 2015, Love Island has become the UK’s most-watched dating show, exceeding 2.5 billion streams on ITVX. Maya Jama returns to host this year’s series, as six girls and six boys from around the UK descend on the stunning villa in Mallorca.
The new series starts on Monday (June 1) with a fresh batch of contestants. Robyn recently spoke about her intentions on the show, while sticking to her dad’s rules of course.
Speaking to the Daily Mail and other press, the 21-year-old said: “I am a daddy’s girl. I always have been. Me and my dad are the closest out of everyone, I would say. So obviously there’s a few do and don’ts that he’s got for me to go in.”

She shared her dad’s main rule is that she’s not allowed to have sex on TV. Robyn said: “I wouldn’t anyway, but not do anything to do with sex!”
The reality series sees six girls and six boys paired together with the hopes of finding love. It comes as no surprise that tensions could arise, especially when the bombshells enter the villa.
Addressing her dad’s wishes, she said: “He’s like, ‘I don’t really want to watch that with my daughter!'”
She added: “I actually don’t know whether he’ll watch it. He’ll probably be camping somewhere fishing, I think.”
“So yeah, it’s not really his cup of tea, but he’s more just made-up for me and he’s happy with whatever I do. He’s just obviously informed me that the support’s always going to be there no matter what.”
Robyn also revealed that she’s not afraid to step on any toes when it comes to getting what she wants in the villa.
She said: “I am definitely, definitely going there for myself. I usually do get what I want, so I feel like the villa probably isn’t gonna change that, so if I do have to step on toes, I definitely, definitely will!”
She shared she is very confident in herself, and isn’t worried about the other girls stealing her man.
She said: “I feel like obviously there is no competition with me. I am very, very confident in myself. Obviously, if someone wants to take my man, then he was never mine anyway.
“So I feel like that’s not something I’m really worrying about. I feel I’d want someone to be 100% on me either way. So yeah, obviously it is going to be a competitive setting, but I grew up being competitive and there’s not really anything that I’m worrying about – if they can take him, have him!”
