Like clockwork, it always seems like a single month later in the year randomly becomes incredibly busy compared to the others either side of it. For 2026, it’s September.
Of course, GTA 6 occupies November, and publishers are purposefully avoiding launching their games just before and right after the Rockstar effort. We’ve just seen Fable delayed to February 2027, with GTA 6 directly cited as a reason for the pushback, among others. Of the heavy hitters, only Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is going near it, slated for 23rd October. And even then, that’s still basically a month before Jason and Lucia’s story arrives.
