Surrey M25 delays as overturned car caused miles of queues near – recap

Recovery work on the M25 clockwise in Surrey is underway following a serious crash which left a vehicle overturned and has caused severe delays.

In its latest update from 8.30am, traffic monitoring site Inrix said: “Severe delays and two lanes closed due to recovery work and earlier overturned vehicle on M25 clockwise before J9 A243 (Leatherhead).

“Congestion to Clacket Lane Services, halfway back to J5 M26 (17 miles). Still in lanes three and four (of four) after a 20 minute hold at 07:35.”
