Car Park F at Ipswich Hospital in Heath Road will be temporarily closed from 4pm on Thursday, June 4, for approximately four hours.

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) confirmed that the reason is so they can replace and set up a mobile MRI unit.

The footpath across the front of Car Park F will also be closed from 4pm and should reopen the following morning on Friday, June 5 at around 9am.

ESNEFT said that alternative arrangements will be in place during this time and patients, visitors and staff are being asked to follow onsite signage and instructions from staff.

The trust said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank everyone for their patience and cooperation while the essential work takes place.”

Car Park F is the main visitor and outpatients car park located at the front of Ipswich Hospital, heading straight over the first roundabout after entering from Heath Road.
