Manchester United’s latest signing Benjamin Sesko is just a few days away from being part of his first Premier League matchday.
The Red Devils kick off their 2025/26 Premier League campaign against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
It has been a refreshingly positive pre-season for Ruben Amorim and his squad, with Manchester United remaining unbeaten in all five of their friendly matches over the summer.
So far, fans have been treated to a glimpse of three new signings in Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Diego Leon – and Benjamin Sesko will hope to play his first minutes against the Gunners.
While Cunha was given the No.10 at United and Mbeumo given the No.19, United have now confirmed what number Sesko will be wearing in 2025/26.

After searching for a striker all summer, United struck a £66m deal to sign Sesko from RB Leipzig over the weekend.
The 22-year-old Slovenian was unveiled in front of Old Trafford moments before kick-off against Fiorentina, but it was spotted that there was no number on the shirt he held aloft.
United in Focus previously explored possible shirt numbers for Sesko, with his favoured No.30 shirt worn at Leipzig taken by Ineos signing Diego Leon.
However, it seems Leon has gifted his number to Sesko, with United confirming that he will wear No.30 for the 2025/26 campaign.
Leon has changed to the No.35 shirt in order for Sesko to be given his ideal squad number.
Benjamin Sesko looks to make history in Man United’s No.30
As soon as he steps onto the pitch, Sesko will break a United record by becoming the first Slovenian player to represent the club.
But the ambitious, young striker will be targeting many more records during his time in Manchester.
A few famous names have previously worn the No.30 shirt at United, including Leon, Nathan Bishop, Matteo Darmian, Wes Brown and John O’Shea.

But Sesko will want to write his own history with his number on his back, and it all starts against Arsenal on the weekend.
It is still not yet clear whether Sesko will start against the Gunners given his late arrival this summer, but Amorim will surely want to give his new star striker his debut at Old Trafford.
