Resident Evil Veronica is now in development for Nintendo Switch 2, Capcom just revealed. The game launches in 2027.
Resident Evil Veronica is a full-blown remake. The game originally launched in 2000, with GameCube getting it in 2003.
For now, Capcom is mostly keeping quiet about details for the remake. The publisher has only put out the following so far:
Resident Evil Veronica will draw players into a desperate escape filled with horror and madness through the isolated, zombie-filled Rockfort Island. Developed on Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE, the game will introduce modernized gameplay with a chilling level of realism designed to push survival horror to new heights.
