The group from Wates Residential will be taking on the challenge on Sunday, June 21 to support Spotlight UK’s Scarlett’s Smiles initiative.

The funds will help children across Hampshire and Berkshire in care, those affected by domestic abuse, with long term disabilities or terminal illness, affected by loss, young carers, low income and armed forces families to help create positive new memories.

Spotlight UK has been offering free and discounted activities such as bowling, laser tag, soft play and swimming for 17 years, supporting more than 3,500 children and families.

The charity covers the cost difference to improve mental health and provide fun for the children.

Spotlight UK also partners with Merlin Magic Wand to offer free days out for children and their families.

The charity also distributes Christmas presents and mental health care packs.

Last year alone, it gifted more than 5,000 presents to children across the area.

Every £5 raised by the team can support a child into a fun activity.
