In the south west, nearly 500,000 people have received the vaccine during this campaign, but health officials are reminding eligible residents that appointments are only available until Saturday, June 29.
Emma Redfern, medical director for specialised commissioning at NHS England South West, said: “You only have until June 30 to get your spring Covid-19 vaccine, so it is important that everyone eligible comes forward as soon as possible.

“This is especially important for adults and children aged six months and over who are immunosuppressed, as Covid-19 can cause serious illness for those with a weakened immune system.”
The spring booster is being offered to adults aged 75 and over—including those who turn 75 by June 30—residents in older adult care homes, and individuals aged six months and over who are immunosuppressed.
Eligible people can book an appointment through the NHS app, the NHS website, or by calling 119.
Walk-in options are also available.
Appointments can be made until Saturday, June 29, with the final day for vaccinations on Sunday, June 30.
