The ambitious event headlined by Anthony Olascuaga and Andy Dominguez will no longer go ahead.
Olascuaga and Dominguez were set to meet in a WBO flyweight title fight, in what was an attempt to try and make history in San Francisco.

Organisers were attempting to break the Guinness World Record for boxing attendance which remains from August 1941, when 135,132 fans flocked to see Tony Zale stop Billy Pryor at Milwaukee’s Juneau Park.
Ed Pereira’s iVB Promotions and Sampson Lekcowicz’s Sampson Boxing were attempting to shatter that record, by making a free to watch event at the San Fransisco Civic Center Plaza.
But VIP tickets had come on sale surrounding the ring, and it was unclear how the logistics of the event would work.
And it has been reported by Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix that the show, along with the record attempt, is now off.

The San Fransisco Chronicle added that the production company who were staging the July 11 event have withdrawn their support, after being bereft with financial issues.
The event will no longer go ahead at the venue, with plans called off just a month before.
But it appears the world title fight involving Olascuaga could go ahead elsewhere.
Alternative plans are being made to try and stage the event at The Sahara in Las Vegas.
That would of course spell an obvious ending to any history-making plans by organisers.
What were the plans for the event?
It was initially believed that unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk was in consideration for the event.

There were intensifying rumours that it could see a clash with Deontay Wilder headline the event.
But they were quickly shut down, and Usyk instead signed for his controversial win over Rico Verhoeven last month.
Olascuaga was instead announced as the headline act, with a full card to feature the likes of Vito Mielnicki Jr and Charly Suarez.
And organisers had hailed how exciting the plans were.
“This will be a show like the boxing world has never seen before,” said Pereira.
“An event built for this city and its communities.
