Can you believe that ‘Brat summer’ was two years ago? Us neither. Following Charli xcx’s era-defining album and subsequent A24 mockumentary The Moment, the singer-songwriter has released two singles this year – ‘SS26’ and ‘Rock Music’ – and shared details of her new album, Music, Fashion, Film, due for release on July 24.
Yesterday she announced a 2026 North America arena tour in support of the record, with dates in Toronto, Boston, Austin, Atlanta, Las Vegas and more. While no UK dates have officially been announced – the shows on the singer’s schedule taking place on home soil are for Reading and Leeds festivals on August 28 and 29 – there’s speculation that more shows will be announced in due course: ‘‘And yes, UK dates are coming I promise”, the artist teased in a since-deleted Instagram story shared to her account yesterday.

The tour news follows an intimate fan event and DJ set hosted by the singer and her husband, George Daniel, in London last month, and the release of the Music, Fashion, Film album cover, which features a photograph of Marc Jacobs alongside musician John Cale and director Martin Scorsese, shot by Aidan Zamiri.

The New York-based singer-songwriter and producer, underscores, has been announced as the support act for all of Charli xcx’s North American dates, which start from July. There will be a limited amount of charity tickets made available, with 50 per cent of proceeds going to the Transgender Law Center – as well as an ‘Angel Tickets’ scheme, through which a limited number of $20 tickets will be on sale in August.
Tickets go on sale on Friday June 12, with pre-sale available from Wednesday June 10.
