The team also delivered a strong display of teamwork in the final kilometres. “In the closing stages, Margaux dropped me off perfectly onto the right wheel. The communication was really good today, and I’m very happy about that,” Veenhoven added. While several teams battled for the best positions approaching the finish, Team Visma | Lease a Bike remained calm and organised. The Dutch rider responded excellently to the accelerations of her rivals and managed to hold her own impressively in the hectic final metres.

Veenhoven ultimately sprinted to third place, earning a spot on the podium of the WorldTour race. The result highlighted not only her sprinting ability but also the strong work of her teammates, who supported her perfectly throughout the finale. Reflecting on her performance, Veenhoven said: “I feel that I rode a good sprint. In the end, I came just a little bit short, but I’m happy with how it went. This is definitely something we can build on, and as a team we certainly rode a strong race today.”
