Emmerdale spoilers follow from Wednesday’s episode (13 August), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale airs a worrying turn of events for Kammy Hadiq tonight as he’s caught clashing with Vinny Dingle – at the worst possible time.
As Kammy continues his kind attempts to support his struggling mate, he gets nothing but grief in return. And that could just be the start of it, as Vinny is still hiding his terrible ordeal with evil Mike.
During a friendly chat outside in the village, oblivious Kammy jokes that Vinny should “man up” and “grow a pair” – the last thing he wants to hear after being targeted so cruelly by Mike.
Vinny responds by lashing out at Kammy with a series of hard pushes. Just as Kammy starts to defend himself, Vinny’s fiancée Gabby Thomas rushes over and wrongly believes that the village newcomer is the aggressor.

Still desperate to cover up the truth, Vinny lies: “He started saying stuff. He said that I needed to man up, and then he started calling you high maintenance, and then he just went for me.”
Vinny’s desperate deceit comes as he tries to hide the evidence of the brutal beating that Mike subjected him to the previous day.
With Gabby now under the mistaken impression that Kammy has turned violent with her partner, could he unfairly get the blame for what happened if she later spots Vinny’s injuries?

Yesterday’s scenes saw Mike turn nasty with Vinny after they’d connected online and met up in person.
Vinny had been seeking a friend to discuss his confusion over his sexuality, but it was clear that he’d trusted the wrong person when Mike became violent and refused to leave him alone until he parted with £10,000.
Bradley Johnson, who plays Vinny, recently teased the future of this storyline by telling us: “I didn’t have a clue that it’s going to end up or be as big as what it’s going to be, but it’s a story that I’m really excited to tell.
“I think it’s going to be shocking, emotional, exciting for the audience to watch. So, yeah, I’m really, really excited.”
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
