Emma Raducanu continues her preparations for this summer’s Wimbledon by taking on Donna Vekic in the final at Queen’s.
The 23-year-old’s clash with the Croatian not only adds further momentum to her bid to claim a second career Grand Slam, but has also already boosted her bank balance.
The competition for this year offers a total prize pot of just under £2.23million.
Just by reaching the final, she has earned just shy of £225k.
It’s a fairly decent pay packet in itself.
But that number jumps up further should she win.

However, her participation in the doubles tournament has topped up those winnings even further.
Raducanu, alongside partner Katie Boulter, bowed out at the last-16 stage, where they were beaten by China’s Zhang Shuai and Australia’s Storm Hunter.
Their opponents edged to a 6-4, 3-6, 10-5 victory on the day, a slight dampener perhaps on what has otherwise been a very impressive tournament for the British number one.
Nevertheless, it was enough to earn her and her partner around £9.5k.
A pretty solid consolation prize, although titles are likely to be more of a motivator for the Brit.
That said, a title at Wimbledon later this summer would bank her an astonishing £3.6m.
The bookies don’t seem massively convinced she will be crowned champion, however.
Raducanu is listed around 20/1 with some bookmakers, with three-time semi-finalist Aryna Sabalenka tipped as the favourite with many.
